I began building this piece of art after I found myself, like others my age, constantly photographing the sky. All of these pieces come from real skies I have photographed or - if i am lucky and fast enough - painted live. I also find that these paintings are a interesting record of my progression with watercolour painting, a medium of which I struggled with and found frustrating to begin with, but now find relaxing and enjoyable. Now, on all trips I take whether it be a month away or a weekend break, my travel watercolours and a block of postcards join me.
